What is the Process?

Cannabis Leaves Procured from State Excise Department

  • Cannabis/Vijaya Leaves are farmed under a Controlled Administration of the respective State Excise Departments which includes the processes of Farming & Harvesting.
  • Cannabis/Vijaya Leaves is an excellent resource for regenerative and sustainable agriculture because it can be used in crop rotation to help put nutrients back into the soil. Cannabis/Vijaya Leaves produces high quantities of biomass (a matter which returns to the soil and decomposes, feeding nutrients back into the ground).
  • Once harvested, plants are put up to be cured, or air dry in a well ventilated area. This curing process takes 3-4 weeks. Once dried, the Cannabis/Vijaya Leaves are shipped to the manufacturers that then gets extract into its purest form, i.e. the Cannabis/ Vijaya Leaf Extract Full Spectrum Oil.

  • Once Cannabis/Vijaya Leaves are in its purest form, it is combined with other ingredients such as flavouring and carrier oil. For example, Xaliven uses a special blend of natural carrier oils (MCT Oil) and other natural essential oil extracts such as Cinnamon, Cardamom, Peppermint, Orange.
  • Coconut/MCT oil (Medium chain triglycerides) make for excellent carriers for full-spectrum Cannabis/Vijaya Leaf Extract. This is due to its natural abundance in saturated fats.
  • Natural saturated fat molecules are easily absorbed by the body and directly through the liver. This allows for the body to get the most Cannabis/Vijaya Leaf Extract absorbed into the bloodstream as possible.
  • Xaliven also uses cold-pressed natural essential oil such as Cinnamon, Cardamom, Peppermint, Orange. in their Cannabis/Vijaya Leaf Extract oil for a light orange taste, which helps negate the “hempy” or “earthy” taste many hemp oils have.

Extraction & Batch Preparation under AYUSH Licensed Manufacturer

  • Once the leaves are procured from excise department, it is cleaned, and all the dust and other impurities are removed.
  • Once the cleaning part is done. It gets crushed and is fed into the supercritical fluid extraction unit where-in the leaves are extracted using Super critically liquified carbon dioxide.
  • During this process, there is no interaction or usage of any chemicals between the Cannabis/Vijaya Leaf Extract. This is how the product is Solvent-free.

Final Product Tested & Approved in AYUSH Certified Laboratory

  • Xaliven undergoes testing at AYUSH (Govt. of India) Certified Laboratory with each of its batches of Cannabis/Vijaya Leaf Extract.
  • A sample from each batch is sent to a lab, where it is tested for purity and potency.
  • Third-party testing is the differentiator between good quality Cannabis Extract products and products that could be anything labelled as CBD. This extra process in production makes all the difference when it comes to making a quality product.
